Our herds are high quality EU accredited organic beef finished on organic pastures, silage and organic grains. Mara Organic Beef runs over 900 breeders which is a supply base to produce animals suited to premium market specifications.
The Hereford and Hereford cross herd’s progeny are fattened to a 150 kgs–250 kgs Dressed Weight carcass.
We also have organic cows to suit export specifications.
All the pastures and grains produced are under a strictly monitored system of soil management used in conjunction with our composting and compost tea facilities.”
